Peggy Ann Ammerman, age 93 of La Plata, Missouri, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2024, at the La Plata Nursing Home in La Plata, Missouri.

Born August 28, 1930, in Kirksville, Missouri, the daughter of Leroy and Anna (Deheer) Redmon. On January 26, 1948, she was united in marriage to Denver Lofblom who preceded her in death on July 8, 1974. On February 14, 1978, she was united in marriage to Don Ammerman who preceded her in death on May 1, 1994.

Also preceding her in death were her parents; eleven siblings; and son-in-law, Reed Stites.

Surviving are two daughters, Kay (Loren) Munn of Bedford, Texas and Carole Stites of La Plata; four grandchildren, Gina Van Hara, Lori Butler, Stacy Frint, and Jennifer Severin; eight great grandchildren, Kinsley, Haley, Hayden, Rhegan, Mattie, Quinn, Taylor, and Lexi; and many more family and friends.

Peggy lived most of her life in the La Plata community. She was a graduate of La Plata High School and was a member of the Lighthouse Assembly of God Church in La Plata. She loved spending time with her family.

Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2024, in the Mt. Tabor Cemetery, east of Atlanta, Missouri.
